Dr. Cara Reitnauer
Dr. Cara Reitnauer graduated locally from Governor Mifflin High School in 2002. She attended Pennsylvania State University until 2006, graduating with a Bachelors of Science degree.
Dr. Reitnauer received her doctorate of optometry at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, now Salus University. Throughout her professional training in North Carolina, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, she has gained extensive experience with primary care optometry, specialty contact lens fitting and diagnosis and management of ocular disease.
She has worked closely with local retinal and corneal specialists as well as provided care to our nation’s veterans at two Veterans Medical Centers. During her externships, Dr. Reitnauer has been exposed to the highest level of diagnostic technology available for managing many ocular conditions.
Along with her training, Dr. Reitnauer has organized vision screenings in the Philadelphia community through Lions Club and attended a mission trip serving thousands in Haiti.
Giving comprehensive eye examinations in Boyertown has been very rewarding for Dr. Reitnauer, and she enjoys every interaction with each patient that walks through the door. She resides in Royersford with her husband, Jacob and they have two sons, Grayson and Landon.
Dr. Justin Sleigh
Dr. Justin Sleigh graduated from Dubois Area High School in 2014. He attended Lock Haven University until 2018, graduating with a biology degree.
Dr. Sleigh received his doctorate of optometry at Salus University better known as Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He performed his professional training at Wyomissing Optometric Center, the Allentown VA, and the Laurel Eye Clinic. He has gained extensive experience with primary care optometry, pediatrics, dry eye and the diagnosis and management of ocular disease.
Outside of providing extensive eye care, Dr. Sleigh enjoys being outdoors, hunting, fishing, and going to the beaches in Delaware with his family.
Dr. James A. Tribbett, Emeritus
In 1969, Dr. Tribbett opened a new office to provide eye care services in the Boyertown area and has always served his patients with honesty, fairness and competency. In 2010, Dr. Tribbett invited Dr. Cara Reitnauer to share in the practice and bring services and continuing updates to his patients. He feels fortunate to have been able to serve such wonderful patients over the past 50+ years. In March 2024, Dr Tribbett peacefully passed away with his beloved wife Kitty by his side. He leaves behind three daughters, many grandchildren and great grandchildren and the Boyertown community that loved him dearly. We will continue to serve future generations of patients that he cherished and we promise to make him proud and keep his legacy alive.
